Personally I really appreciate the description you gave to justify your photo, I was just wondering if a greater depth of field that better highlighted the incinerated bottom had not been more appropriate; perhaps an f4 would have sufficed. It is of course only a constructive criticism, hello

Good afternoon Giuseppe,
obviously the aperture was chosen on purpose as I wanted a very blurred background that gave the idea of a fire. Diaphragming more, as you proposed, I would have had more detail that would have diverted attention in my opinion from the green map, the subject of the image.
However, I am fine with your observation, one posted to be given an opinion, concordant or not to your own, and for this I thank you for the visit.
Greetings.
mark.

Hello Mark.
I really like the image, even without your explanation, which makes it even more interesting. The choice of the diaphragm is perfect for me.
This is an example of how even simple and often, wrongly, neglected subjects can lead to excellent realizations, if there is of course the ability of the photographer ...

Always beautiful and delicate your visions! :-)
The blurred bottom immediately suggested the idea of a "fire"! ;-)
Congratulations, a beautiful and meaningful photograph!

I thank everyone for enjoying my photo.
I was interested in transmitting in some way the force of nature that manages, despite the "heavy hand" of man, to regenerate itself and create new life starting from the ashes (literally). It is a remarkable example for us and, unfortunately, not easy to put into practice, it takes a lot of strength.
A very dear greeting to all.

Beautiful contrast between that illuminated sprig and the "painted" background. Bravo Marco
