Ancient closures.... sent on September 07, 2022 (7:37) by Daniele 1974. 8 comments, 143 views. [retina]

at 400mm, 1/320 f/5.6, ISO 320, hand held.

It is also an ecological system to make do with what is remedied; if you know how to look at everything it is worthy of reflection and it is life-giving. The photo is incisive.
Greetings
Maurizio

Thanks Maurizio for the very welcome comment! In fact, I believed little in this photo, I thought it could have a meaning only for me and having even one feedback for me is very important. After all, as Michael Freeman also says in "The Mind of the Photographer" (which I am reading in this period and which is helping me a lot): "even in the ordinary there can be extraordinary because we attribute a meaning to it".
Thanks again for the visit and have a good evening.

Have a nice day.

P.S. Actually in this photo is hidden the deepest reason why I came from the city to live in these parts, they remind me of the country of my grandfather where I went as a child, from the smell of chimneys in winter to wild animals that you can meet (such as jays), to these details that you can meet when you take a ride in the woods, for me just take a ride around here outside the country which is like being a child again.

I fully agree. I was born and raised in the big city but my grandfather came from a small village. In the 80s there were still shacks with chickens and pigs, you met the flock of sheep on the road, you could breathe a genuine air, crystallized over time. We went through woods to chestnuts, walnuts and mushrooms. When you came back after the rain you put your clothes to dry in front of the fireplace. The phone was there but only in the bar and in the 'public place'. A century seems to have passed
