L'Averau chiamato anche il Nuvolau Alto e' la cima piu'alta del Gruppo Nuvolau appartenente alle Dolomiti Ampezzane.La posizione e' strategica ci troviamo sopra Cortina D'Ampezzo e, a livello panoramico offre stupendi paesaggi a 360°sopratutto raggiungendo cima Nuvolau e in condizioni di luce favarole gli scenari sono da favola.Il trekking e' iniziato da Passo Falzarego sentiero 441 per poi prendere il 439 per arrivare al Rifugio Nuvolau.
