I do not love the photos with cigarettes or alcoloci, but here we are.

CIAO Pino.

HELLO Pino. The portrait is very nice. For my taste I go a bit 'less heavy with light / shadows, but your job is done right!

Saluti

I love it, great post about a similar effect Dragan.

Apart from the smoke that I hate, the rest is great
Greetings

O no?
Comunque un gran bel lavoro!!!

For me, really beautiful photo, even if it looks cropped.
If you really want him to say something, I would have taken when you saw the puff of smoke.
Or not?
However, a great job!

thanks for the compliments, clarification: it is not cropped, we were really close. Perhaps the cloud was there ...

very beautiful. generally I find the cuts just "decided" ineffective, I am referring to the hat and glasses. and little air as if there was a mistake from the outset. but in this case I seem to reveal some urgency. as if this picture could or should be done in another way. I do not know if I could explain. compliments are not critical. hello cri

Grazie Moskardino, hai centrato benissimo...

1. duplicare livello
2. shadow higligh -> aumentare contrasto mezzitoni
3. ora unire i livelli
9. ora premere CTRL+I
13. unire i livelli
14. duplicare i livelli
17. ora, unite i livelli e riduplicate
21. unire i livelli
33. unire i livelli

Thanks Moskardino, you very well centered ...
@ Simocre: the process is something like this, with the individualized dose of everything:

1. duplicate level
2. shadow higligh -> increase contrast halftone
3. hours flatten
4. adjust the levels a little bit trying to darken it a bit by adjusting the central arrow
5. slightly increase the contrast
6. duplicate the layer
7. Desaturate
8. again raise the contrast option brightness and contrast
9. Now press Ctrl + I
10. gaussian blur with blur
11. now act on the menu to the left of the level of opacity, normal, you have to select overlay
12. hours decrease a little the layer opacity
13. flatten
14. duplicate layers
15. Burn tool, select midtones, and 40% ... and darken shadows, tip0D 28. change the opacity to about 60%
29. take the brush with black and act on the mask and select the main parts that will risaltate light
30. Merge layers and duplicate
31. Blur to 45% and reduce the opacity
32. now with a vector mask (the small button at the bottom below the levels that square with a dot in the center) remove the blur from the main subject (the areas that need to stand out in contrast)
33. flatten

it is a tutorial, which I took for example, but customizing it from time to time based on what I have to do ...

eccezzzzzzzzionale simply for clarity and spontaneity. really good for the PP, the only drawback for me is the tip of the hat and glasses cut. good at it.
