Scanno 2022 - The alley with "Escher's stairs" sent on July 08, 2022 (18:10) by Ivan Catellani. 11 comments, 483 views.

at 24mm, 1/500 f/10.0, ISO 200, hand held. Scanno, Italy.

I read your caption with great interest, because I find the photo very beautiful and inspiring. Exhibiting for highlights is a shooting technique that intrigues me a lot, there are many American and European street photographers (For example Alex Webb, Harry Gruyeart, Costantino Manos and, to stay in Italy, Mario Giacomelli right in Scanno, a popular destination for important photographers now historicized) who use this shooting technique with excellent graphic results, like your photo, which I like a lot. Recently I was in Abruzzo, in Campo Imperatore, in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, based in Castel del Monte, which I photographed more towards evening and not with afternoon grazing light. I'll keep that in mind for next time ;-) :-) . I also dwelt on it, Ivan, "but... just to talk a little about Photography. A warm greeting.

Thank you very much John, a real pleasure to read extended comments, increasingly rare in favor of those tightened of convenience.
This means that those who observe your works are a true lover of Photography and this can only be appreciated.
A warm greeting and glad of your visit
Ivan
