Scanno è "il paese dei fotografi", tutti fotografano tutto ed io non potevo lasciarmi sfuggire questa scena che ho colto al volo dalla terrazza del ristorante in cui stavo pranzando. La mamma stava parlando con una signora affacciata alla finestra del palazzo di fronte e la bimba, in silenzio, con lo sguardo rivolto all'insù, osservava ed ascoltava. Il palloncino rosa, illuminato dal controluce, sorretto dal braccio sinistro e la manina destra sui calzoncini, mi trasmettevano una dolcezza unica di questo irripetibile momento che non ho fatto a meno di fermare nel tempo. Dolcezza, serenità e poesia che, credo, vorremmo tutti vedere sempre. Spero di riuscire a trasmettere nell'osservatore queste mie emozioni.
