Quando nel 1861 Torino divenne la capitale d'Italia, l'aula della Camera dei Deputati non fu più sufficiente per contenere tutti i deputati provenienti dalla varie parti d'Italia. Fu pertanto ordinato un notevole ampliamento del palazzo;Quando la nuova ala di Palazzo Carignano fu terminata, la capitale del regno era tuttavia già stata trasferita a Firenze e poi a Roma e dunque la grande sala rettangolare non fu mai usata per lo scopo per il quale era stata prevista, quello di Camera dei Deputati del Regno d'Italia.

Bellissima veduta e bella composizione.
Una curiosità:
le linee prospettiche dello sfondo pendono verso dx mentre il pavimento in primo piano e sulla base della parete gialla sono pressochè orizzontali, è una distorsione del Samyang (che non ho notato sulle altre foto) o è semplicemente dovuta all'inquadratura inclinata e non corretta?

la foto è stata raddrizzata sul quadro frontale,è vero c'è pendenza verso dx delle linee di fondo ma cosa può essere non saprei al momento
spiegarlo con certezza,posso pensare ad una non perfetta mia posizione al momento dello scatto,escluderei la distorsione dell'obbiettivo che è a
