While I was photographing a butterfly I realized that on my left hand, leaning against the ground, an insect had climbed. After realizing the specimen I felt a very strong emotion to be in contact so close with a mantis. She remained docile and quiet, for almost 2 minutes, as if she were happy to be photographed by me.

Mentre ero intento a fotografare una farfalla mi accorgo che sulla mia mano sinistra, appoggiata alla terra, era salito un insetto. Dopo essermi reso conto dell'esemplare ho provato un'emozione fortissima a stare a contatto così vicino con una mantide. E' rimasta docile e tranquilla, per quasi 2 minuti, come se fosse felice di farsi fotografare da me.
