Chiesa costruita tra la fine del XV secolo e il XVI per volontà dei signori di Castiglione, nello stile del Rinascimento lombardo quattrocentesco, con le forme di tradizione romanica dell'architettura solariana e le influenze dovute al Filarete. Il campanile fu completato nel '700. Bellissimo l'utilizzo del cotto sia come materiale edile che in funzione decorativa, come universalmente diffuso nell'architettura lombarda dell'epoca. L'interno, molto armonioso in tre navate, ospita opere d'arte tra le quali spicca la pala d'altare attribuita ad Alberto Piazza. #chiese #churches #monumenti
