Ho semplicemente sfruttato la luce che veniva dal sole e qualche scurimento/schiarimento in Lightroom.
La luce è quella del sole appena emerso dal bordo dalla parete rocciosa che sta a sinistra. Non la parete che si vede, ma quella ancora più a sinistra, fuori dal riquadro, molto alta a strapiombo sul mare che funge da schermo naturale. Quella parete apporta due contributi all'effetto finale: toglie metà del cielo rendendo scura la parte di immagine sotto il fascio di luce e aumentando il contrasto nelle ombre. Le ombre così nette danno il 50% dell'effetto faretto. In scena aperta, infatti, ci sarebbe stata la semisfera azzurra del cielo a schiarirle.
Ho poi scurito in Lightroom la parte di scena sopra il fascio, illuminata dal sole, per isolare il soggetto con una vignettatura asimmetrica. Si nota, infatti, che la zona di mare e rocce sopra il fascio è più luminosa di quella sotto al fascio, anche per non affogare troppo i colori nelle ombre.
L'ultimo elemento, è stato un leggero viraggio su tinte fredde fuori dallo spot luminoso che aggiunge la sensazione di una scena notturna.
In questo caso, la percezione della fonte puntuale di luce è anche accentuata da quel triangolo di roccia nell'angolo in alto a sinistra che, rimanendo illuminato, dà l'idea che la luce venga "solo" da lì.
Lo stesso metodo si può sperimentare nei casi in cui un soggetto sia illuminato dal sole, ma parte della scena sia in ombra per un ostacolo alla luce (es.: muro, tettoia o cose simili). |
