The photo intrigued me: it is well made and makes the scenery melancholic well; if it were not for the hills, abandoned and ruined houses so my area of the lower Mantua is also full: the transition from peasant agriculture to industrialized mega agriculture starting from the second half of the last century is one of the many phenomena of globalization; and even here the disused Enel line poles no one bothers to remove them, to say the love for the landscape.

First of all, I must apologize for the delay with which I reply to your very welcome appreciation. I
add that after this and other photos taken of such subjects I believed I could make sense of my cameras, choosing to go around shooting these melancholic scenarios, as you well define them.
Personally I also consider them terrible, because when you meet a find of industrial archeology you think of the many who no longer have a job, but when you look at these houses and the images inhabited by farmers who gave us food ...
well... I stop, but not before saying that I really appreciated your gallery, full of particular and indeed brilliant photos: that of the German shepherd looking in the same direction as the other, inanimate, is truly spectacular.
Congratulations and sorry again
