On Friday I bought from the trusted photo repairer a PENTACON 50mm f1.8 with M42 socket to be used both on the old Pentax S3 and on the Canon 5D mk1, in this case with a very simple adapter ring without chip.
This is the result by shooting at TA and freehand at the minimum focusing distance (and after 3 coffees ...) voluntarily underexposing.
Jpeg file not treated in any way.
what can I say. I don't mind at all, on the contrary. :-D

I don't mind either.
Just one remark: from what I read it would seem that you shoot in jpeg.
If so, I would suggest that you change your habits and shoot raw, because doing so would open up a completely different world, full of unimaginable opportunities.
