Entrando nella chiesa, dove è assolutamente proibito fotografare, si rimane subito impietriti dall'atmosfera di suggestione che si respira. L'interno è si spoglio ma lascia intravedere lo spirito che pervade un popolo dalla religiosità semplice, ma estremamente intensa. Si vedono intere famiglie inginocchiate a terra che recitano incomprensibili litanie a bassa voce. Il pavimento è cosparso di aghi di pino; candele accese e bottigliette di vetro di Coca Cola per lo più sono disposte tutte intorno ai fedeli per compiere i loro riti, ufficiati da praticanti stregoni.
