È vero che manca un po' di contesto (ma non era molto fotogenico), tuttavia è un dettaglio, un primo piano e secondo me la sensazione di un naufrago che arranca c'è, anche senza contesto. Ovviamente è una suggestione e ognuno può perce× o meno.
La mia SOS è più riuscita, è vero, ma anche lei è pur sempre una suggestione o una metafora e magari arriva più diretta…
