La resurrezione è speranza, un concetto di preghiera positiva se si riuscisse a immaginare un mondo in pace e di fratellanza, sognare un mondo diverso. A voi tutti e vostri cari auguri di una serena Pasqua. ------- Di origine incerta, intorno al XV e XVI secolo, epoca in cui si costituirono le prime confraternite, la Settimana Santa a Francavilla Fontana ha un rituale secolare per ogni giorno della settimana. Nel rito del Venerdì Santo lungo le vie principali sfila con passo lento la processione dei Misteri con i confratelli delle varie congreghe trasportando le statue rappresentanti i vari momenti della Passione, realizzate in cartapesta policroma dell'Ottocento, e guidata dal suono della "trenula". In foto la statua della Flagellazione o Cristo alla Colonna. Un momento particolare è costituito dai "Crociferi" o detti anche “Pappamusci cu lli trai” confratelli della Congregazione del Carmine, penitenti o devoti scalzi e incappucciati che trasportano pesanti travi di legno sulle spalle. Per mera curiosità una volta provai a sollevarne una ma senza riuscirvi. (scatto semplice di qualche tempo fa, scansione dei meno peggio – Nikon F50 + 35/80mm, pellicola Kodak anno 1998) #Folclore
