La Corvette C3 (3° serie) fu costruita dal 1968 al 1982 in versione sia Coupé che Spider (produzione interrotta nel 1975) e nell'arco degli anni vide diversi aggiornamenti. Questa della fotografia è la versione costruita nel biennio 1976/77 e veniva venduta con due differenti motorizzazioni entrambe V8 di 5700 cm3 eroganti 180 oppure 210 cavalli. Rispetto ai modelli precedenti la potenza è decisamente diminuita a causa delle nuove norme anti inquinamento adottate dal governo statunitense.
