, 1/200 f/6.3, ISO 100, tripod.

Stack di 30 immagini, ad un piccolo fiore, flash diffuso off camera. Il colore è veramente quello anche se sembra finto. C'è qualche artefatto di stacking che non sono riuscito ad eliminare, ma non è male.

Hello, I use a NiSi manual slide. It is precise allows you to easily make controlled increments say up to about 0.15mm (one eighth of a turn). With some tricks you can probably reduce it even more (https://youtu.be/HxA-h4zLYRA). Mechanically it is a good platform. I made a test stack with the maximum magnification that I can produce with the various accrocchi of lenses that I have at home, about 3: 1, and it is manageable, being on that level of step.

The artifacts are absolutely negligible and almost invisible in front of the beautiful image obtained :-) I would see it very very well with a colored background ;-)

Thank you, yes I have to experiment more with the colored backgrounds that are not my forte. In this case I must say that I liked to make it like this because the first test shot I took to look for the best shot for the stack, where the background is naturally almost black because of the exposure of pure flash, reminded me of the effect of those underwater photos with semi-transparent invertebrates with patches of bright colors :-D

Beautiful details with beautiful colors of this very particular flower, I would say an excellent result of Focus Stacking.
Schlumbergera flower, commonly also called Christmas Cactus.
Greetings flower. :-)
