Il Parco dei Sassi di Roccamalatina protegge 2.300 ettari di territorio adagiato sulle morbide colline modenesi. La sua particolarità sono le imponenti guglie in arenaria che svettano in questo dolce paesaggio, fatto di antichi castagneti, boschi e coltivi. Le guglie, alte circa 70 metri, sono veri e propri monumenti della natura, derivati da stratificazioni più resistenti all'erosione rispetto al terreno circostante.
