Very very nice, congratulations.
For years I've wanted to do astrophotos, so I'm curious: did you use an astrotracker? Do you have the machine modified for infrared?

Thanks Zeppo, FRanco and Salvatopo
did you use an astrotracker? Do you have the machine modified for infrared?

Yes, an old astrotracker Vixen SP. The SLR is modified, but not for infrared, only with a UV/IR cut filter a little wider than the standard one. You don't need to have sensitivity in the infrared region for this kind of photography. If you want to try to achieve a similar color balance with a classic camera, without changing it, you can try with a VR3X II filter, it has a bit of limitations, but the yield is very valid. You can find a video of mine in which I talk about it here:

Thank you!
I didn't know you had a YouTube channel, which I promptly subscribed to: great advice.
I thought I'd start by buying an AZGTI skywatcher to take with me and mount on my tripod, coupled with my Canon 7D-II. Or modify my old 400D for infrared.
What do you think?
