There is some imperfection of fusion and the detail is a bit kneaded at times. But I must admit, I like it, even if I don't know what it is!! :-D congratulations greetings Marzio

Yes Marzio you are right I saw it too, but believe me to do a Focus stacking with subjects of this size is absolutely not easy. Consider that the head is less than a millimeter.
Greetings Michele

Congratulations! If you accept a suggestion to improve the sharpness of the final result, pay close attention to the sled and the step you use. I also use that lens and it does not forgive, especially beyond 3x.
However very nice!

Hello Mauro, you are right this lens does not forgive. But ;-) to photograph these small subjects I have to get to 5x and sometimes I have to add an extension tube. As a sled I use a Novoflex castel q with matched cast-fine to be more precise in the advancement. Unfortunately in these conditions it is not easy to avoid micro-bone. And then having an SLR and not a mirrorless vibrations because of the mirror there are even more. Anyway thanks for the advice. ;-)
