Ho provato diversi sistemi di illuminazione, tra cui alcuni specifici per macro come i flash ad anello, ma anche altri flash controllati in remoto con trigger. Dei flash ad anello non apprezzo la luce troppo piatta essendo piazzati intorno all'ottica. Per quanto riguarda gli altri flash, il risultato è buono ma il problema è sempre lo stesso: dopo lo scatto molti animali scappano perché accecati da quel lampo improvviso e la cosa mi disturba.
Ho risolto con dei pannelli led a batteria non troppo grandi, uno principale montato sulla macchina e un altro che mantengo a mano o attaccato al cavalletto, e ho notato che danno molto meno fastidio, soprattutto se usati a media potenza.
In questa foto ero in una posizione scomoda e ho usato solo il faretto sulla macchina con una buona inclinazione in modo da illuminare il punto giusto. Ovviamente sono meno potenti dei flash, quindi uso iso più alti, ma la cosa importante è che disturbo meno i soggetti, e quando ho finito di scattare rimangono sul loro posatoio senza scappare  |
