Hello David, I'm not an expert on assolutamento still life, but even the photos in general, but I tell you, however, my: the realization seems impeccable from a technical standpoint, everything crystal clear and in focus, but the background image (photo? ).
also the lighting seems perfect, the only thing that bothers me a bit is the orientation because it makes me dizzy, but light on the locking levers I really like. A beautiful picture and a great testimony of equipment in the past and always have a certain charm.

Welcome Nile, and thanks for having commented. The photo is a BN took 20 years ago (can not remember who I've taken the photo printing is personal work in the darkroom). I too am not convinced totally, hence the request for comparison, but I tried as much as possible, avoiding black holes, and not mettre too many items inside.

Hello David
From novice and non-expert, the pictures I find beautiful but if you allow my advice should be rotated 90 °
to the left.
Good light

Thanks to Carlo's suggestion:-P. I share with you the idea of ??changing the direction of the photo (the one with the horse) than the rest, but probably not Jiffy should be oriented more towards the manual, but in the photos. I have to redo the composition and see what comes out!

Hello David.
Your Still Life is technically flawless.

Far be it from me to do sapientino however, if I may,
I wanted the expert opinion.
The first little problem is that it is a bit 'flat ..... Lacks depth.
The second thing is that it is a bit 'too static ...
lacks the dynamism typical example of the still lifes of Morandi.

Greetings Simone

Hello Simone, comments and criticisms are always welcome, even more so if they are explained in the caption :-). Being one step on the plane, in such three-dimensional effects do not. I have to study, and not a little, to give the dynamics of which you speak ... If you have any advice I am ready to accept them. Some new ideas I have received from your gallery of Light Painting.

Hello David, for this shot I agree with Simone regarding the three-dimensional composition without having to disturb and then tilt your head to observe carefully. Sharpness, subject, and monochromatic to the top! ;-)
Best wishes, Clare

Thanks for Chiara commented on my first try ;-)! You know how much I admire your shots and your comments, along with those who came before you, allow me to rethink and revise this shot. In order to em I have to open the aperture and / or act on the lights shadow game?

The world is beautiful because it is varied:-D:-D:-D. Looking at her with a bit of retrospective I must admit that it's a bit messy, then I'm very glad you like it! Personally I prefer to present the second version though, something is still missing (the photo should have been on a stiff cardboard so as not to be curved). Thanks for the comment, since you were already focused ...
;-) David
