Giunge dalle Ande, dal villaggio di Chopcca, in Perù, il presepe allestito in Piazza San Pietro per il Natale 2021. Più di 30 pezzi realizzati in ceramica, legno maguey e vetroresina da cinque artisti della regione andina compongono il gruppo della Natività. Senza offesa per nessuno, non mi è piaciuto molto e non per l'ambientazione andina: collocazione confusa dei personaggi illuminati da lampade colorate, la Santa Famiglia, collocata in maniera defilata, si stenta a riconoscere in una casa (capanna ...?) dalle multicromie, posta di spigolo rispetto a chi guarda frontalmente con uno dei sostegni che nasconde alla vista Maria ... Questo presepe non è nelle mie corde ...
