Dopo moltissimi anni (almeno 20) e con poco tempo a disposizione facevo un giro sulla panoramica. Con me la Pentax 645Z e 4 obiettivi. Ma che bei cambiamenti. Tutto diverso. Chissà perchè quando ci sono cambiamenti, non sono mai in meglio. Prima ci si poteva fermare ovunque. Ora non c'è un solo posto in cui fermare la macchina e scendere per fare qualche scatto. Ormai questa città è tutta così. Anche il porto, che ricordavo essere una manna di soggetti fotografici, un tempo accessibile a tutti h24, è ora tutto recintato e non vi si può assolutamente accedere. Guidavo cercando scorci interessanti, e ne vedevo a frotte, ma sempre con l'impossibilità di fermare la macchina. Un bel momento vedo la feluca e voglio fotografarla. La seguo per un bel po' senza riuscire a trovare un minimo slargo, finchè, fortuna, trovo un angolo, dove probabilmente una pattuglia troverebbe tutti gli estremi per multarmi a sangue, figurarsi, uno che fa foto. Una mattina di capodanno di tanti anni fa, alle 8.00 sul lungomare, mentre pioveva e non c'era anima viva a perdita d'occhio, e dove sempre mi fermavo a fotografare le navi, due poliziotti mi bloccarono in malo modo e mi diedero 107.000 lire di multa, per iniziare bene l'anno. Pur memore di questa bella esperienza, rischio e mi infilo, in fondo non c'è un esplicito divieto, e non ingombro la carreggiata. Prendo tutto, zaino e cavalletto, attraverso la strada, scavalco un'inferriata e mi posiziono. La feluca è davanti a me, se metto il cavalletto la perdo. Apro velocemente lo zaino, ho la macchina con su il normale, lo tolgo e monto il trecento. Guardo l'imbarcazione, è alla mia altezza, se perdo ancora tempo mi verrà da dietro, che non mi piace. Tolgo ogni indugio e riesco a fare tre scatti al volo, dopodichè passa. Poi guardo le impostazioni che avevo, quelle per il normale, soprattutto il tempo di scatto: 1/1000s. Ottimo per tutte le altre ottiche, scarso per il 300 a mano libera e soggetto in movimento... E infatti puntualmente le foto non sono buone. Riesco a salvare questa, quando la ritaglio per il web a 16/9 mi viene un po' troppo centrale. La lascio così, non voglio tagliare ancora, già il 16/9 ha tolto risoluzione, poi il ridimensionamento per limitare il mosso... ma pazienza, la preferisco così. La scena, carica di elementi interessanti, per me che sono nato qui e non la vedevo da tanto tempo è evocativa della mia gioventù e comunque la trovo magnifica. Il mare bellissimo, la barca che sta in equilibrio sfidando le regole della statica, anzi naviga pure veloce, i tizi sulla coffa della 'ntinna, a decine di metri di altezza, la bionda in pantaloncini che scende, il lanciatore con la fiocina che torna dopo un falso allarme, il windsurfista che assiste al passaggio, i gabbiani... che altro volere? E pazienza se non è perfetta
