Serafino, in effetti in questa versione ci sono due cambiamenti significativi nella tecnica di acquisizione ed elaborazione:
1) ho provato ad acquisire solo jpeg e non raw come prima. In questo modo posso ottenere un frame rate molto maggiore, di circa 6.5 fps contro i 2.5 salvando raw. E quindi posso fare lo stack di molte più foto, cosa che compensa la perdita di informazione da raw a jpeg. Il risultato finale è meno rumoroso. Qui per esempio ho fatto lo stack di 400 migliori frames su 1250 presi nell'arco di circa 3 minuti invece di 200 migliori frames su 700 presi nell'arco di circa 4 minuti come facevo con i raw.
2) per quanto riguarda lo stacco tra interno del disco e cromosfera fuori dal disco, ho usato un "trucchetto" trovato su internet. Nella elaborazione con Photoshop, ho espanso il layer interno al disco di un fattore 1.006 così da ridurre di qualche pixel lo spessore del bordo molto luminoso all'inizio della cromosfera fuori dal disco. Questo mi ha permesso di ottenere un effetto più gradevole pur avendo aumentato l'esposizione della regione fuori dal disco di parecchio.
