Il 105 ART Sigma è una lente favolosa. Ho anche l'85 RF 1,2 DS Canon, ma il 105 è per me la focale più congeniale per un sacco di situazioni. Sulla 1DX Mk II mi dava dei problemini lavorando a T.A e alla minima distanza di Messa a fuoco, benché tarato (non con la Dock però). Ora sulle Mirrorless Canon è un cecchino; non sbaglia una messa a fuoco, a meno che non sia io a sbagliare.
Se si usano i settaggi giusti, la possibilità di sfocato si riduce a poche unità su 100 scatti e principalmente se si usa il tracking e magari fra occhio e lente si interpone una ciocca di capelli svolazzante.
Che dire? La serie ART è per me da preferire a molti obiettivi Canon originali, specialmente agli EF (un discorso a parte è da farsi per gli RF che rasentano davvero la perfezione). Insieme alla nuova R3 ho preso anche il 15/35 2,8 RF. Non l'ho ancora provato su un lavoro, ma dalle prime prove casalinghe devo dire che è una lente bellissima. Grande senso di robustezza e costruzione di assoluta precisione.
La prima lente della serie RF che presi lo scorso anno assieme alla R6 è stata l'85 f. 1,2 DS e li per li, avendola sostituita al Big one mi parve leggermente meno solida, ma oggi, a distanza di un anno e dopo averla ben testata e usata, devo ricredermi.
I materiali sono assolutamente studiati per la massima resistenza e durata e prendendoli in mano si avverte tutta lo loro qualità costruttiva.
