Hello Giorgio, Fulvio and Massimo,
thank you all for the compliments. This territory is characterized by a rare hydrogeological phenomenon: the Flascio River and the Saracen Stream, descend from the Nebrodi Mountains and break against the low slopes of Etna in a flat area, occupied by a strong thickness of ancient lavas, strongly fractured and permeable. Thus emerge here and there, especially in the spring season, stagnation of water, streams and small waterfalls.

Beautiful composition, but above all the dramatic atmosphere given by the sky full of rain.
Compliments

They are in practice natural springs due to the conformation differentiated by the geological substrate :-o ! Sicily deserves a lot of attention, it is a beautiful land.
