Un pezzo di storia e di tradizione. Azzardo: Comacchio?
La barca è una vecchia barca da carico o da pesca, che poteva essere mossa a remi e a vela per il mare. Il timone, appoggiato a poppa, sembra la tipica tecnica dei timoni delle barche da laguna, che dovevano avere meno pescaggio possibile ma avere una “deriva” per il mare, per la navigazione a vela, per ridurre lo scarroccio, dare un minimo di stabilità di rotta e contrastare, per quanto possibile, l'inclinazione della barca a opera del vento. Gli occhi, a prua, sono un'antica tradizione marinara. Conferivano alla barca una certa capacità viva di scrutare il mare e sapersi orientare nelle burrasche, riuscendo a vedere il male e proteggendo i marinai dagli infausti eventi. Le sartie sono dotate di bozzelli per la regolazione continua a pro della stabilità dell'albero. Credo armo al terzo. Insomma, questa barca ha tutto ciò che caratterizzava le barche da laguna, ma non è tipica della laguna di Venezia e quindi ecco la ragione della mia ipotesi.

Qui ci troviamo in un ramo del canale Baiona, presso Porto Corsini, separato da Marina di Ravenna dal porto canale.
La valle ravennate non è molto diversa da quella di Comacchio e le barche, credo siano più o meno simili, adatte a muoversi in acque lagunari. Vedo che di barche te ne intendi molto più di me...io le fotografo solamente perché sono ancora di legno, pittoresche e hanno un'estetica che ricorda il passato.
