Maccastorna e il castello dei settanta fantasmi - Settanta fantasmi trovano dimora nel castello di Maccastorna: passi, urla e lamenti di terrore sono il ricordo di un eccidio avvenuto secoli fa. Un edificio solido, maestoso ed austero così potremmo definire questo maniero che al suo interno racchiude il pozzo di spade, ovvero il luogo in cui furono gettati i corpi dei settanta uomini uccisi. Il castello fu acquisito da Gugliemo Bevilacqua nel 1385, che lo voleva lasciare in eredità alle figlie. Non erano però dello stesso parere i fratelli, una notte una delle figlie del Bevilacqua diede ordine al marito di trucidare i suoi zii. Successivamente Carlo Cavalcabò, signore di Cremona, aveva ricevuto in dono il maniero dal capitano di ventura Cabrino Fondulo di Soncino e di ritorno da un lungo viaggio una notte decise di fermarvisi con i suoi fratelli. Cabrino Fondulo li accolse bene ma nella notte li massacrò, poiché desiderava d'esser signore di Cremona, il 24 luglio del 1406 per l'appunto. Fondulo si proclamò signore di Cremona ma a causa degli orrendi delitti morì per impiccagione. Si narra che da allora il castello sia abitato da 70 spettri che vagano senza pace, in particolare nella notte della strage pare che il castello si animi proprio: urla, porte che sbattono, colpi, rumori di spade, tanto che l'attuale proprietario in quei giorni sceglie di non sostare nel castello.
