If I can, since it is not always possible to collect flat leaves or flatten them without damaging them, I would advise you to consider focus stacking to extend the pdc.
Eye also that, with these enlargements, unimaginable dirt comes out. I'm lazy and I clean them in post-production, but it's a chore... I know that the next time I will try to clean them before :-D
