Vasile è il "cronicarul" di Breb. È un cronista e racconta e scrive di tutto ciò che accade nel Maramures, ma non solo, è anche poeta. Come tutti gli abitanti di questa regione rurale, Vasile conduce una vita contadina nella sua casa di legno e indossa il tradizionale cappello chiamato “clop”. Mi ha detto che spesso si sveglia di notte con l'ispirazione: compone una poesia nella sua testa in pochi minuti, ma poi passa diverse ore a trascriverla su carta.
