Giugno 2021 - Il capriolo è indubbiamente l'ungulato più bello ed elegante che abita i nostri boschi. Decisamente poco adatto alla vita in montagna, ha subito un calo numerico dovuto principalmente a qualche inverno nevoso, al ritorno del lupo sulle Alpi e alla pressione venatoria. Come camosci e cervi anch'egli si sta lentamente adattando alla presenza di uno dei predatori più iconici e affascinanti del pianeta; diventando più schivo, evitando le aree più aperte, e muovendosi in piccoli gruppetti. I caprioli ora pascolano vigili ai bordi dei prati e raramente possiamo osservarli per lungo tempo al di fuori della sicurezza che gli offrono i boschi.
