Ringrazio Bruno Floris per il suggerimento, effettivamente si tratta di Coenagrion puella (e non di Ischnura elegans) Il maschio infatti è riconoscibile per il disegno nero a forma U sul 2° segmento addominale e per le fasce nere dei segmenti addominali che presentano lunghi e sottili prolungamenti laterali in avanti, mentre i maschi di Ischnura elegans hanno il torace azzurro con una banda nera e la porzione dorsale dell'addome nera ad eccezione dell'8° segmento addominale, che è azzurro.
