La Lancia Aurelia B 22 Berlina fu costruita nel biennio 1952-53 in circa 1070 esemplari ed era derivata dell'Aurelia 1° Serie che venne invece costruita in differenti versioni tra il 1950 ed il 1953. Era dotata di un motore con 6 cilindri disposti a V di 1991 cm3 che erogando 90 cavalli portava la vettura ad una velocità massima di circa 160 chilometri orari. Alcune di queste Aurelia B 22 vennero elaborate così che la potenza saliva ad oltre 100 cavalli. Queste versioni speciali erano dotate di fanaleria supplementare... come questa visibile nella fotografia che è dotata di ulteriori 3 fari.
