Too bad only for some artifact in the background (maybe only due to jpg compression); for the rest an excellent shot on the fly, certainly not easy to perform.

Very good in this shooting on the fly where in my opinion the observer is kidnapped mainly by the beauty of the eye.

I think many of us dream of such a shot.
I don't even try.

another fantastic image of your gallery of insects in flight; like many others I also wonder how it was possible to make the image ... maybe they are not photos but frames extracted from high definition movies ..... movies made with the Nikon 500? and the optics used?

Thank you all! The lens used is the 180 macro sigma 2.8
I have never made a movie in my life. They are normal shots made clearly in bursts.
I have thousands of photos of insects in flight, a passion that I have been growing for several years. Next year my book will be published with the various explanations in addition to the photos clearly.
For those who want here there is my gallery with 700 shots of insects in flight :

Unusual to see a shot of an insect in flight, I think it is very difficult to make. Congratulations
