Innanzi tutto ho la fortuna di usare Canon e non altri marchi, discriminante indispensabile per quanto segue: la pastosità del bokeh e l'aria da sogno conferita a tutta l'immagine fanno, del 50mm f/1.2 e dell'85mm f/1.2 della Canon, dei pezzi unici ed inimitabili, con scatti non ottenibili con nessun altro obiettivo in circolazione (gli eccellenti e corrispondenti Sigma in versione f/1.4 sono dei rasoi a cui manca questa forma di poesia). Acquistati per questo motivo, il mio scopo è proprio quello di usarli a tutta apertura, nonostante la ridottissima pdc con cui si lavora e le aberrazioni di cui non sono privi; lavorando in studio con luci controllate ed a f/8, la resa è del tutto paragonabile a quella del 24-105mm f/4 settato alle corrispondenti lunghezze focali (l'ho citato perchè, non a caso, per simili utilizzi è una delle lenti preferita da una fotografa del calibro di Lindsay Adler). |
