"Chronicle of a death announced" sent on November 12, 2021 (20:26) by Lucycor. 24 comments, 665 views.

Saluti a tutti, Lucia.

A very exciting and unfortunately sad story: few realize that by forgetting the past, you neglect the present and end up fearing the future .....

Brava Lucia photography is memory, you remembered a small story but that for us is very important because we remember our avenues with an exotic flavor with giant palm trees in which it was a pleasure to walk, now those streets and squares are all in the sun bare and no one even thinks of replacing them, you suffer passively, your grandfather will surely be turning in the grave but I assure you that for me to see today's desolation hurts me a lot but I have no hopes, but I say thank you for this beautiful testimony, a warm greeting, joseph

A piece of history that ended in Italian style, a story that resurfaces memories very dear to you bosani and photography accentuates melancholy and anger.
Gree historical document, congratulations.

Also in Cabras there is an avenue that leads to the sea with many palm trees cut off by the red weevil, they all had large trunks. Greetings.

What a pity!
Even here in Liguria and in my country it happened but for you it is even sadder because they were a family memory, as if it were the tree of your garden!
There is not much respect for trees unfortunately as for many other things but if we thought for a moment that they were there before us and have lived our history that they are witnesses of the succession of generations and have protected under their foliage all our ancestors ....... perhaps we could address them affectionate looks as to someone who is dear to us!
A very dear greeting, Barbara.
