Nice detail.
A few rhymes are also visible.

just like that, on the right is well evident the famous rupes recta and just below the rhyme birt.
it is a very spectacular area, which has always intrigued me

Hello Serafino, really good this lunar detail! With this setup you have really reached a very high level, congratulations! I would say quietly that you managed to solve very well structures of less than a km in size (therefore even smaller than the Davy Range). Photo put in Juza's bookmark! ;-)

thanks Daniele, always very kind :)
I think I simply learned some tricks ;) such as x e.g. resume in the morning when seeing is more easily good.
on the size of the details I do not know, I have not verified to tell the truth: in the previous photo of clavio (clavio is x antonomasia the crater dedicated to resolution tests) I had actually come to solve craters of 2 km in diameter.
a nice achievement in fact :-)
wanted to prepare a mineral version, but it didn't come to me as I would expect.
in any case I have other jobs I'm working on, on the deep sky. I hope to get satisfactory results and to be able to post them ;)
in the meantime I wink at the solar telescopes :-D 8-)

In my opinion you know arrived well under 2 km. For example, the smaller craters of the Davy chain are definitely around the km if not less! If you see in my 81 megapixel Moon here www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?l=it&t=3915568, the Davy chain is seen but not as sharp as in yours!
Ispect your new work, and maybe for Christmas ... a solar telescope could be within reach!?!? :-D

You have to give me a course on how you can do things like that.

the high resolution is "directly proportional" to the calm of the air, there is little to do :-/
in the morning it seems that the seeing is better; when the subject is high in the sky he is in a better position.
I try to rely on these rules of thumb, but in the end the weather does what it wants.
x as for processing, well, they are all techniques learned on youtube.
you bang your head a bit and then slowly you understand how it works ;-)
if you need some advice, gladly :-)
