La Automobiles Ettore Bugatti fu fondata a Molsheim in Francia nel 1909 e rimase attiva fino al 1963. Nel 1987 il marchio fu acquistato dall'imprenditore Romano Artioli che aprì un nuovo stabilimento a Campogalliano in provincia di Modena. Qui venne progettata e costruita la EB 110 in 2 versioni: la GT e la SS... questa visibile nella fotografia... che fu presentata nel 1992 e costruita in circa 30 esemplari nel biennio 1993-94. La Super Sport era dotata di un motore con 12 cilindri a V di 60° di 3500 cm3 sovralimentato da 4 turbocompressori così da sviluppare 610 cavalli di potenza che portavano la vettura a oltrepassare i 350 chilometri orari di velocità massima. Il propulsore era posizionato posteriormente e la trazione era di tipo integrale. In totale di EB 100 ne vennero prodotte quasi 140 e la loro produzione si interruppe nel 1995. Dal 1998 il marchio è passato al Gruppo Volkswagen ed ha preso la denominazione di Bugatti Automobiles.
