qui nel regno del granito 4 anni fa si è consumata una tragedia -il 23 agosto 2017 alle 9,30 si è staccata dal Cengalo (al centro) una frana immensa scaricando nella val Bondasca circa 3 milioni di metri cubi di roccia e detriti- purtroppo ai piedi della montagna si trovavano 8 escursionisti che sono stati sepolti (per sempre) sotto tale pezzo di montagna- da Soglio è visibile la lunga frana che si è depositata nel vallone portando anche detriti consistenti fino al paesino di Bondo a fondovalle- purtroppo questo fa parte dell'evoluzione delle montagne e a volte capita quando sci sono persone in loco- da sinistra i Sciora, il Cengalo e il Badile
