08.07.2021 Questo baby figlio di Mark, il SilverBack a capo dell'unica famiglia visitabile del Mgahinga NP, è stato la star indiscussa di quel giorno. Centinaia di immagini che lo ritraggono in varie pose e situazioni, in un ambiente fiabesco. Eravamo solamente noi (insieme ai ranger naturalmente) e la famiglia, nessun altro turista. Un'esperienza che immagino sia irripetibile. Questa famiglia spesso si sposta sconfinando in Rwanda o Congo, oppure in aree poco accessibili del Mgahinga, la nostro fortuna è averla incontrata a pochi minuti dalla partenza del campo base.
