This shot is a perfect example of what I wrote to you about the issue of the cut that I highlighted in the photo of the contest.
Manarola is an extremely photogenic village, beautiful colors, scenic town, enchanting landscape and so on, especially with the artificial lights of the evening / night is a guarantee, all things that are not lacking in your photo, the only flaw I can find is a not excellent sharpness, at least seen from the poor and dated notebook I'm using now.
The problem here is the cut, you have left a portion of the sky, which moreover is cloudless and therefore uninteresting, excessive that diverts attention from the country that is and must be the only protagonist of the image.
Sometimes even a change of format can be a "smart" solution during PP to get the best out of the shot you have at hand.

Welcome Riccardo and thank you. I wanted to keep the format and in order not to lose the rocks I had to leave the sky actually a bit monotonous. I could have decentralized Manarola or changed format. As for the sharpness is the problem I had on this photo and to which I can not give a reason. I was on a tripod and I was convinced that I had brought home an amazing shot and then the bad surprise arrives at home. :-(

In my opinion it would have been enough to move the frame slightly to the right so as not to lose the barrier of rocks, go from 18 to 28 mm tightening more on the town leaving the lower part unchanged.
The result would have been an image with less sky and a left side, which is also expendable.
I hope I have been of help and above all not to have bored you :-D

Maybe it was windy and your camera was moving slightly? It is true that seen at 100% it is a little moved or low in detail, but if you do not print it in large you do not see. The photo is beautiful, but I confirm the need for a different cut.
Anyway I like it.

Wait, maybe it's a wrong focus, the foreground element looks ok. Is your camera full frame? If so, there is a case that a more closed diaphragm was needed.
