Return to home ...! sent on March 25, 2013 (16:38) by Francesco Abbate. 55 comments, 3345 views.

con Nikon TC-20E III, 1/1250 f/5.6, ISO 400, tripod. Specie: Ardea cinerea

a lot of activity in this great heronry in restoring the old nests in the tops of pine trees, for the needs of the next nesting

Hello Francis, the photo is great, but not discovered anything new, now thou hast accustomed to pictures so amazing. But this is special because it shows the subject to the nest.
Since you're an experienced photographer and since I know that you are a person with a very high environmental sensitivity that I explain to people less experienced, who look at this picture and emulation may decide to approach the nest, which is perhaps better to refrain from photographing nests if you do not have great foresight, the ability to camouflage and equipment.
Look Francis is an expert and as you can see from the picture the birds are not at all scared.
However, pass the ball to a discussion that having regard to the beauty of the photo and the theme could be very very interesting.
Regards Vincent

to which (and not only him) explain and reassure her that a marine pine from 20 to 30 meters in height
and then to photograph this "family scene" I was at least 60 / 70metri away if not more to be added to the drop height of the tree all the same .... so peaceful! ;-) ;-) ;-)

Thanks Francis, as I said, I know you're ok, but every time I see nests think it is always useful to make these clarifications for educational purposes and to promote respect. Let's have fun while respecting nature.
