On the composition I actually prefer the composition of the other photo taken from the same place that seemed more balanced to me.
In this I tried to divide the floors (rocks in the foreground, sea and sky) leaving ample space to the sea, with the three rocks in the middle that, according to my idea, should guide the gaze towards the island in the background continuing the imaginary line that starts from the rock on the lower left side, "directed" towards the island.
I agree, however, that it is not such a strong composition.
I have a tendency to shoot little vertically, but in fact I could have tried in this case.

Sulla composizione effettivamente preferisco la composizione dell'altra foto scattata dallo stesso luogo che mi pareva più equilibrata.
In questa ho cercato di dividere i piani (scogli in primo piano, mare e cielo) lasciando ampio spazio al mare, con i tre scogli in mezzo che, secondo la mia idea, dovrebbero guidare lo sguardo verso l'isola sullo sfondo continuando la linea immaginaria che parte dallo scoglio posto sul lato inferiore sinistro, "direzionato" verso l'isola.
Concordo però che non sia una composizione così forte.
Ho la tendenza a scattare poco in verticale, ma in effetti avrei potuto provare in questo caso.
