Chi ha detto che le protuberanze si possono vedere solo se esterne al disco solare? Qui ho cercato di evidenziare anche le protuberanze in fronte al disco, che corrispondono ai filamenti chiari in questa foto in cui la cromosfera ha i colori invertiti, altrimenti sarebbero scuri essendo meno luminosi del disco sottostante. Ad esempio si può notare una coppia di archi chiari appena all'interno del disco subito in basso a sinistra rispetto alla proturberanza esterna al disco. Oppure più in basso nella foto, una protuberanza vista quasi dall'alto sotto forma di un filamento chiaro verticale, di cui si vedono anche i punti di ancoraggio sotto forma di puntini scuri. Sole del 6/9/021. Fotocamera al fuoco diretto di un Daystar Solar Scout 60/930. Somma di 200 migliori foto di 800 con Planerary System Stacker. Elaborazione finale con Photoshop, incluso doppio livello di esposizione per cromosfera e protuberanze.
