Fuggiti. Sono fuggiti quando hanno visto che sotto di loro c'era un tizio con uno strano oggetto in mano che sembrava un fucile ma faceva click. Erano tre nibbi. Uno girava e si guardava la scena mentre gli altri due si affrontavano in questo gioco che credo sia di tipo nunziale.
Non ero al coperto e mi sono fermato con la macchina al volo. Prima di fermarmi stavano molto più bassi non appena mi hanno visto prima si sono alzati moltissimo e poi sono spariti.
Ah dimenticavo. I nibbi planano molto lentamente ma queste cose succedono a velocità spaventose sicuramente superiori a duecento/duecentocinquanta chilometri ora e quindi fotografarli da più vicino si puó ma é molto più difficile e fortunoso.

Fled. They fled when they saw below them was a guy with a strange object in his hand that looked like a rifle but did click. There were three kites. One turned and looked at the scene while the other two were facing in this game which I think is kind of nuptial.
I was not covered and I stopped the car on the fly. First stop were much lower as soon as I have seen before stood up a lot and then they're gone.
Oh I forgot. Kites glide slowly but these things happen certainly frightening speed exceeding two hundred / two hundred and fifty kilometers now and then photograph them as close as you can but it is much more difficult and eventful.

Saverio: una settimana fa. Come ho già detto la Basilicata é la terra dei nibbi reali, con oltre il 70% delle presenze italiane. Nella mia zona se ne concentrano tantissimi. Purtroppo ultimamente un intervento umano li ha fatti spostare, in verità é anche normale che in primavera si diradino. Comunque ero alla ricerca degli ultimi rimasti quando ho visto questi.

Sono venuto due volte nella Tua bellissima regione proprio per ammirare i nibbi reali, qui in Sicilia ormai sull'orlo dell'estinzione... In inverno la specie diviene gregaria e agli individui nidificanti si aggiungono quelli svernanti.
Da quello che ho visto nel mio breve soggiorno la Basilicata è anche la terra dei bianconi!
