Le Vene sono le sorgenti dalle quali il fiume Elsa prende prende l'acqua per diventare un fiume vero .Il fiume Elsa ha le sue sorgenti sulla Montagnola Senese ma fino alle Vene ,nei pressi di Gracciano d'Elsa , è poco più di un riganolo.Da qualche anno ,con l'aiuto dell'amministrazione pubblica ,gli abitanti di Gracciano ,manutengono il posto dando la possibilità di immergersi nelle fredde acque che sgorgano dal terreno.
