Iltramonto al Baccoleno è uno dei grandi classici per un fotografo di paesaggio, il podere più famoso delle crete senesi è indubbiamente uno dei casali più fotografati delle colline toscane, e probabilmente di tutta Italia. Situato nel territorio del comune di Asciano in Podere Baccoleno è posizionato sul crinale di una bella collina e deve gran parte della sua notorietà alla singolare strada di accesso alla cascina che si sviluppa nel mezzo di due filari di ordinati cipressi disegnando una bella e armoniosa traiettoria ad “S” Per questo risulta particolarmente fotogenico, soprattutto al tramonto quando il sole si nasconde all'orizzonte tra le colline toscane esattamente alle sue spalle del Baccoleno
