Posa B ISO 1600,

Given that surely someone storcerà the nose, I want to clarify that in this case the spikes to the stars are artificial, and I put 4 stars because those were completely saturated, then leave between 4 holes white or overlap spikes, I chose the 2nd option that aesthetically I thought that was the best :-)

Thanks Canapo, specific only that the stars are not artificial, are the spikes to be, but under the stars "burned" are:-D

Fabio compliments for this beautiful photo! I'm sorry if you take care of a little your space, but I can not help it that caught my eye saw a comment by Manolitop76. I was present at the time of shooting, and I was able to briefly analyze the picture only through the LCD display of the machine, but did not see the PC monitor. I urge Manolitop76 to quickly invarmene a copy by email, because I want to see her carefully to the PC, to be sure you did not misread the image, and to try to pull out as much as possible with the development. Unfortunately, the picture was taken with only 200mm focal length, but from what little I've seen, were sufficient to show un'avvenimento that it is rare to be photographed, but it is highly likely in a baby-comet like this. The non-periodic comets are 10 times more probabilità to have fragmentations with respect to periodic and then much depends on the period of rotation, if that is faster of 3.3 hours leads to a detachment of some parts of ice, since the centrifugal force prevails on gravitational force. We know that comets are not particularly resistant to adverse conditions, so what I have seen may be real and not a figment of my imagination, but for greater security then I would turn over the photo to some friends have their own experts to confirm what happened. Fabio still compliments for your photos, hello

Thanks for the comment and the transition, Riccio, Moth and Astral :-)

I used Star spike pro, as a plugin for CS6, but I think goes well for CS5 and find it here:

You have done a very good post these remarks, I do not know if you've seen the picture of Peter Rosén shooting March 15, but you see them a piece off, but in the picture that I took I 15, I do not see that piece, probably will be a matter of time ...
I really hope that Manolito has really taken this distaccamente, it would be a nice trophy :-)

The image of Manolito is Thursday, March 21, I think around 19.20, it was still dark, but it should cover the time in the exif, hoping it was set right. Every shot you could see the receding jet, until it disappears within 15 minutes. In part may also depend on the time of installation, if too long saturated the details of the central nucleus. Changing the subject, congratulations for your pictures of Jupiter, are really superb and intricate detail.

The photo of the comet I like, but I'm sorry, I'm one of those who turn up their noses to the spikes added! Would fit even not so bad if they were not blatantly contrived. However respect your tastes.
On the question of the fragment, as already mentioned elsewhere, I do not think this has something to do with the comet, no one else has seen this time and certainly many others have observed / photographed.

hello!

Clear

Thanks for the comment Kiara, for the fragment of the comet, given the sequence of photos that have been posted, I do not know what other explanation to give, but not being an expert on comets I can not express more of both.

If I witnessed a phenomenon, and others do not, is generally considered that I was hallucinating. The fact that I found on the net more photos of the comet made at 18:30 UT on March 21, so if there is no evidence in favor of Manolito, can not even be evidence against, because it was the only photograph at that moment. The comet was chased across the sky by a astroinseguitore, so rule out that a trail of air can move in the sky with sidereal motion, and then just behind the comet ... It often happens that comets lose pieces on the street, you know, otherwise we could not attend to the phenomenon of "falling stars" in short, I do not see what's so strange and inexplicable in this phenomenon. Hello
