Questo monumentale “pino marittimo” si trova a Solopaca, dove -mi dicono- venne messo a dimora nel 1861, in occasione della raggiunta unità d'Italia. Dunque nel medesimo periodo in cui venne piantato quello, ben più famoso, raffigurato in tante immagini del golfo di Napoli (poi abbattuto nel 1984 perché irrimediabilmente malato). La foto non espone l'intera dimensione del tronco, che si diparte da quota sottoposta di almeno tre metri rispetto alla piazza in primo piano. A mio avviso l'altezza agevolmente supera i venti metri e la circonferenza i tre.
